Cupids 400 Inc.

challenge:
Development of a comprehensive marketing and communications platform commemorating the 400th anniversary of the establishment in Cupids, Newfoundland and Labrador, of the first english speaking settlement in Canada.

Historical events are often positioned poorly, leaning either too far towards an aloof, rarified event for VIPs and snobs, or too close to an after-concert party for the Rolling Stones. Either way you end up with a big hooplah and then... bang! Its over and you’re forgotten.

DRAY Media’s mission was to create and brand a lasting legacy for Cupids, highlighting and cementing an emotional attachment to a place where all Canadians can look to as the heart of it all.
